Congratulations to Radha Paudel!

MBB congratulates Radha Paudel for her work and accomplishments! Radha is the recipient of the 2014, Madan Purasker award, the most prestigious literary award in Nepal. Her book, Khalangama Hamala (Battle of Khalanga) is published by Nepalaya and is about Radha’s the attack on Jumla’s headquarters by then-rebel Maoists on November 14, 2002.

Radha Paudel, is an activist for rural transformation through persistence efforts on human rights, peace building and community development. She is a survivor of 10 years of Maoist conflict in Nepal. She is also survivor of Gender Based Violence. She is a N-Peace Awardee 2012 (UNDP), Women Peace Maker 2012 (USD, IPJ, USA) and Youth Talent Awardee 2013 (Ministry of Youth and Sports, Nepal Government). She is working for rural areas such as Karnali, in the far west and other regions of Nepal.

Radha is a participant in MBB’s International Training Institutes.
