MBBI Wins 2016 ACR International Outstanding Leadership Award!

MBBI is excited to announce, the Association for Conflict Resolution‘s International Section, has selected Mediators Beyond Borders International (MBBI) to receive the 2016 ACR International Outstanding Leadership Award! It will be presented at this year’s Annual Conference in Baltimore, Maryland, on Saturday, October 1. This is possible due to MBBI’s members and donors’ years of support. MBBI thanks its supporters for contributing their wisdom, skills and expertise that has lead to this recognition by its peers. 

ACR presents this award each year to honor exceptional work promoting conflict resolution in local communities around the globe, particularly in challenging or difficult circumstances. ACR recognizes MBBI’s significant contributions to peace building and mediation practices over the last decade, and commends MBBI’s approach, which emphasizes inclusivity, cultural competency and sensitivity to the impact of trauma in communities. The award also recognizes MBBI’s leadership in fostering local capacity to prevent, resolve, and transform violent, thereby building essential skills for sustainable peace.
