Virginia L. Morrison

Virginia (Ginny) L. Morrison leads Collaboration Specialists a firm offering conflict resolution in health care organizations and prison systems. She has published a book chapter and is the author of multiple professional articles. Ginny uses conflict management principles when serving in Special Masterships overseeing parole revocation and alternatives to incarceration in California’s adult and juvenile systems. She has led work groups affiliated with the alumni of the Harvard School of Public Health Healthcare Negotiation and Conflict Resolution Leadership Program, as well as the 2005 Patient Advocacy Summit. She is a founding advisor for Consumers Advancing Patient Safety and a member of its board’s conflict-of-interest committee, and has long-standing affiliations with ethics committees and IRBs in academic medical centers and community hospitals.

At MBB, Ginny is the Project Team Leader for The Liberian Initative and the Board Liaison for the Truth & Reconciliation Commission Committee.
