Derrick Stewart was raised in the rural areas of Manitoba and spent most of his time growing up in the small city of Brandon, Manitoba. Derrick obtained an Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Zoology and double minoring in Chemistry and Psychology before attending Law School at Robson Hall at the University of Manitoba where he is a member of the class of 2010. Derrick has served on many volunteer boards and intends to be an active member of the community after finishing his law degree. He plans on returning to Brandon and intends to have a general practice but with a focus on Corporate law. Derrick hopes to establish MBB as an active member of the Robson Hall extra-curricular community and become active in both MBB Robson Hall and MBB more broadly, both now and in the future. |
| Amanda Faulkner, Jr. President |
Amanda Faulkner was raised in Southern Ontario, spending most of her teens in Toronto before doing her undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia in History and Political Science, with a focus on military history and the role of gender in conflict zones. She is a member of the Robson Hall law class of 2011 at the University of Manitoba and has participated in a number of extracurricular activities there, in addition to a committement to volunteering at Camp Quality, a camp for children surviving or living with cancer. Although she is currently excited to start a Corporate Law career she is committed to MBB and what it stands for. As her pet project, Amanda hopes to dedicate her time and energy to getting this new (first Canadian university chapter!) off the ground and running in the fall of 2009! |

| James Benson is a member of the Robson Hall Class of 2010 at the University of Manitoba and participates in a number of extracurricular activities including all Robson Hall hockey teams. James obtained an undergraduate degree in linguistics from the University of Manitoba before attending law school. James is a fan of board sports of all kinds and enjoys kayak and camping trips. James hopes to focus on Aboriginal Law after completing his studies at the University of Manitoba. He is interested in MBB because of the potential for reconciling differences in a non-violent way. |
