Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, Eilidh Bellamy is a second year undergraduate student of International Relations at King’s College London. She is particularly interested in human rights and peace-building, and aims to specialise in conflict resolution after graduation, with
a focus on the MENA region.
Eilidh has previously interned at Sayariy Warmi, a Bolivian NGO which supports victims of domestic violence and trafficking. This experience instilled in her a deep respect for grassroots movements and a belief in the potential of bottom-up change, and the need for
community involvement when tacking social problems. MBBI’s work reflects all these values, and Eilidh is excited to learn from and engage with their global network to further community-led peace.
In her spare time, Eilidh studies Arabic and Spanish, and is Captain of her university’s swimming team.
