Rubina interned at the United Nations Office for Drugs and Crime before joining MBBI where she carried out research on topics such as Human Trafficking and Smuggling of Migrants. She studied International Law in China. In 2016, she was elected as the Student President at her university where she represented and served 1,200 international students. She speaks English, Nepali, Mandarin and Hindi. Her research paper “Socio-legal analysis of gender-based discrimination in Nepal” was published on the National Law Journal in 2019. She loves reading, playing badminton and hiking.
