Description: Conflict management coaching, also known as conflict coaching, is a process that has steadily emerged in the ADR field since the late 90’s. Its applications have grown, along with its popularity, as a tool for mediators and other practitioners to help clients – on a one on one basis – to find their way through conflict. A goal-oriented and future focused technique conflict management coaching assists people to more effectively manage their interpersonal disputes independently by, among other things, strengthening their skills and ability to engage in conflict. This individualized process is also used to coach people to more confidently and actively participate in mediation, negotiation, and any other forum in which people come together to communicate and problem-solve when conflict is already present or inevitable.

Cinnie Noble is a lawyer, mediator, coach and founder of the CINERGY model of conflict management coaching. She is based in Toronto, Canada and coaches and trains people to coach in her model around the world. Cinnie is the author of 6 books, 2 of them on coaching – ‘Conflict Management Coaching: The CINERGY Model’ and ‘Conflict Mastery Questions to Guide You’.
