Speaker Bio

Rosa Zubizarreta

Rosa Zubizarreta offers learning journeys for consultants, facilitators, and mediators on working creatively with conflict. Author of “From Conflict to Creative Collaboration: A User’s Guide to Dynamic Facilitation,” she teaches this approach internationally. You can learn more about Dynamic Facilitation at https://participedia.net/method/1692. Rosa also works directly with leaders and groups to catalyze both innovation and alignment through empathy and collaborative sense-making. She is currently completing a doctoral dissertation on the Vorarlberg Bürgerräte, whose model for participatory public policy-making is built on Dynamic Facilitation as their “operating system”. More info on this model is available at https://participedia.net/method/6227.

Rosa’s larger purpose is to actively promote the growth of our societal capacity for communicating across divides, as she knows from experience that when we work skillfully with differences in perspective, they can serve as potent sources of renewable energy for a regenerative world. Trained in organization development, action research, and a variety of dialogic practices, her listening work is grounded in decades of personal practice, including Focusing and Internal Family Systems.
