Jefferies\, B.Sc.\, LL.B.\, LL.M.\, S.J.D.\, is an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Alberta in Edmonton\, Canada\, where he specializes in international and domestic environmental law and energy law. He currently teaches Environmental Law\, International Environmental Law\, Basic Oil and Gas Law\, and Oceans Law and Policy. He was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 2010. He completed his graduate degrees at the University of Virginia\, School of Law\, where he studied as a Fulbright Scholar. Before entering academia\, Cameron practiced at Field LLP in Edmonton\, Alberta\, and worked as a Research Associate at the Health Law Institute at the University of Alberta. He has published several book chapters and articles in Canadian and U.S. law journals\, including the Energy Law Journal and the Journal of Environmental Law and Practice. He is the author of Marine Mammal Conservation and the Law of the Sea (OUP\, 2016)\, co-author ofTort Law\, 6thed. (Carswell\, 2017)\, and co-editor of Global Environmental Change and Innovation in International Environmental Law (CUP\, 2018). He has been an invited speaker to a number of national and international conferences. In addition to his academic and professional curiosity in environmental law\, oceans law\, and wildlife conservation\, Dr. Jefferies maintains a keen interest in public interest advocacy and remains active in promoting local environmental law reform.

She wrote the book she wished she’d had 10 years ago when her son began his transition. \nSuzanne is an experienced Mediator\, Conflict Coach\, Facilitator\, and former journalist. She now dedicates her time to helping address issues of conflict\, harassment\, and stigma in the workplace\, and in supporting families through difficult conversations around gender.

Please use the Time Zone Converter to determine when this engaging conversation will be in your time zone. \nRegister here!\nSpeaker Bio\nNokukhanya (Nox) Ntuli\nNokukhanya (Nox) Ntuli\, Principal Specialist Ombudsman at the Compliance Advisor Ombudsman (CAO) (part of the World Bank Group). CAO is an independent accountability mechanism for the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. Nox manages the mediation unit\, which handles mediation processes between communities and the IFC’s private sector clients globally. Before joining the World Bank Group\, she worked as a Constitutionalism and Rule of Law Expert at the African Union Commission in Addis Ababa. She has experience in intellectual property law\, constitutional law\, employment law\, and corporate law. She also has\nextensive experience in Conflict Resolution and Mediation and has mediated employment\, commercial\, electoral\, land\, community\, and multi-party disputes for over 15 years. \nNox has lived and worked in the United Kingdom\, Zambia\, Uganda\, Kenya\, Liberia\, Ethiopia\, United States\, and South Africa. She holds a Post Graduate Fellowship on Peace and Security from the African Leadership Centre and Kings College London an LLM in Corporate Law an LLB Honors and is an ADR Group Accredited Mediator. She is also a member of the African Union’s Network of African Women in Conflict Prevention and Mediation (FemWise-Africa)\, board member at Bulungula and Center for the\nStudy of Violence and Reconciliation. She also volunteers as a mediator at the District Court in Maryland.
