With hands-on experience in the humanitarian and development sectors\, she contributes to youth empowerment and democratic resilience. As a participant in a CCSD’s program to strengthen youth-led civil society organizations for sustainable peace\, Yara continues to be at the forefront of efforts to create lasting\, community-driven change. She facilitated community dialogues\, led awareness and advocacy sessions\, conducted key informant interviews and focus groups with displaced populations\, and coordinated activities that promoted accountability and participation. With a background in Computer Systems Engineering\, she blends technical expertise with grassroots activism to foster inclusive spaces where young people can shape their future and drive positive change. \nيارا حج حرسان: ناشطة شبابية\n​​يارا شابة سورية ناشطة تكرّس جهودها لتعزيز القيم الديمقراطية والمشاركة المجتمعية في سوريا. ومن خلال خبرتها العملية في القطاعين الإنساني والتنموي، تسهم في تمكين الشباب وتعزيز صمود المجتمعات في وجه التحديات. شاركت يارا في أحد برامج مركز المجتمع المدني والديمقراطية الهادف إلى دعم منظمات المجتمع المدني الشبابية، والمساهمة في بناء السلام المستدام. ومن خلال هذا الدور، كانت في طليعة الجهود الهادفة لإحداث تغيير مجتمعي حقيقي من الداخل. قادت جلسات حوارية مع أفراد المجتمع، ونظّمت حملات توعية ومناصرة، وأجرت مقابلات معمّقة ومجموعات تركيز مع النازحين وضحايا الحرب، كما نسّقت أنشطة تشجع على الشفافية والمساءلة والمشاركة المجتمعية. تحمل يارا شهادة في هندسة نظم الحاسوب، وتوظف خبراتها التقنية إلى جانب نشاطها الميداني لخلق مساحات شاملة تمكّن الشباب من المساهمة الفاعلة في بناء مستقبلهم ودفع عجلة التغيير الإيجابي. \nJawaher Yassin has a background in chemistry and a deep commitment to social change. Jawaher is a Syrian civic activist with extensive experience in youth and women’s empowerment\, community development\, and cultural dialogue. She founded Khayzaran Cultural Forum\, which promotes social awareness through cultural dialogue. As a member of the youth cohort at the Center for Civil Society and Democracy (CCSD)\, she has actively participated in youth forums and peacebuilding workshops. Her work extends to several respected organizations\, including where she has led advocacy\, project management\, and conflict resolution training. Through every role\, she remains committed to creating safe\, inclusive spaces where young people—especially women—can lead\, collaborate\, and drive transformative change in their communities. \nجواهر ياسن: ناشطة شبابية \n​​جواهر ناشطة مدنية سورية تتميز بخبرة واسعة في مجالات تمكين الشباب والنساء، والتنمية المجتمعية، وتعزيز الحوار الثقافي. تحمل شهادة في الكيمياء، لكنها اختارت أن تسخّر معرفتها وشغفها في خدمة العمل المجتمعي والسعي نحو التغيير الإيجابي. أسست منتدى “خيزران الثقافي” ليكون مساحة تفاعلية تنشر الوعي من خلال الثقافة والحوار. ساهمت جواهر ضمن مشاركتها في برنامج الشباب التابع لمركز المجتمع المدني والديمقراطية في تنظيم ملتقيات شبابية وورش عمل لبناء السلام، وشاركت بفعالية في جهود تهدف إلى تعزيز دور الشباب في مجتمعاتهم. كما عملت مع عدد من المنظمات المحلية والدولية، وتولت مهام في مجال إدارة المشاريع، التدريب على حل النزاعات، والمناصرة لقضايا المجتمع. تسعى جواهر في كل ما تقوم به إلى خلق بيئة آمنة وشاملة تمنح الشباب – وخاصة النساء – فرصة للتعبير، والقيادة، والمساهمة في صناعة مستقبل أفضل. ناشطة مدنية سورية تحمل شهادة في الكيمياء، وتتمتع بخبرة واسعة في العمل المجتمعي وتمكين النساء والشباب. تشغل حالياً منصب منسقة الداخل في شبكة المرأة السورية، ومديرة جمعية “بصمة أمل”، وعضو مجلس إدارة في فريق “الأيادي الذهبية”. كما أسست منتدى “خيزران” الثقافي لتعزيز الوعي المجتمعي عبر الثقافة. شاركت ضمن “مشروع الشباب” لمركز المجتمع المدني والديمقراطية كعضو في “المجموعة الستين”، وساهمت في تنظيم منتديات شبابية وتدريبات في بناء السلام. لديها تجارب مع منظمات محلية ودولية مثل IRC و”بسمة وزيتونة” و”دارنا”، وتُدرّب في مجالات المناصرة، إدارة المشاريع، وحل النزاعات. تؤمن بأهمية تمكين الشباب وخلق مساحات آمنة للقيادة والمشاركة.
