Peace Direct — and the TRUST Network — believe that peacebuilding must be led locally and by the communities that are most impacted by violence and oppression.  Yet, the international system continues to marginalize local people and perpetuate systems of exclusion, colonialism, racism, classism and militarism.  And our own peacebuilding community has work to do to become more connected to local communities here in the US.  How do we show up more for those in our own country on the frontlines of change?
