MBB President’s “Gratitude Dinner”

On December 15, 2012, MBB President  Lynn Cole hosted a “Gratitude Dinner” at her home in Tampa, Florida. Lynn’s dinner goals were:

• not only to bring Florida MBB members together to show appreciation and thank them for all they do for MBB,
• but also to bring them up to date regarding the Board’s Strategic Planning process.

One of her guests was Nina Dodge Abrams, who is an active member of MBB’s Finance Committee.  She had valuable information to share with the others, as we all discussed the various ways that we each promote peace building at home and around the world.

Who knew that our MBB President was not only an excellent hostess, but also a gourmet cook. Her “Gratitude Dinner” was a huge success and a very special way to have mediators and MBB members share their stories and get better acquainted. How lovely it would be if Lynn’s “Gratitude Dinner” could be the spark that lights the fire for many MBB members to host similar dinners in their respective communities.
