MBB Projects take on summertime travel

The summer was a busy time for Mediators Beyond Borders with three projects traveling
internationally. Team Kenya traveled to Kenya as a final assessment trip to solidify partnerships and gather the remaining information needed to ensure Kenya becomes a full-fledged, board approved project.

The Colombia Team had three goals on its summer trip: to share information with school teachers on identifying and dealing with symptoms of trauma; to work with children as well as adults on mediation skills; and to design the last phase of the project wherein they’ll prepare community leaders to continue using the skills they’ve learned to handle conflicts in non-violent ways.

Team Nepal made its final trip to Napal before bringing the Nepalese Supreme Court to California to learn about Court Mandated Mediation Models at the State and Federal Level here in the United States. The pictures are from Team Nepal’s trip.
