Abiola F. Faleye is a seasoned Legal Practitioner, Mediator and Conflict Resolution expert in Nigeria who is committed to community peace building. She has collaborated with different NGO’s to initiate and implement programmes on improvement of rural women and the girl child quality of life in ensuring that they reach their full potential. Abiola is a co-founder of “Lifeline Alliance” a platform set up by five female Mediators to help women in need of finding solution to any conflict depriving them of being the woman they want to be. She also has a mentoring programme running for girls tagged “The full me” where skills are taught. She believes that the society cannot experience a full social engineering that can lead to positive peace without the full inclusiveness of the female gender.

Mrs. Alice Raissa Male Mballa has over 7 years’ experience in organizational development, management, and governance. She is currently the Chief Governance & Strategic Health Officer of Mercy Initiative For Africa (MIFA) in Cameroon and, as such, is responsible for designing, implementing and sustaining the business practices, processes, and systems necessary for a robust governance framework across the breadth of MIFA’s activities. She has also worked with vulnerable children in Ntui a sub-division at the outskirt of Yaoundé and is an International certified Legal practitioner from the Central University of Essec Douala.

Badriatu Turay Alghali has been in election management and observation for the past 4 years and has observed both national and international elections. She serves as liaison between her institution, National Election Watch Sierra Leone, and partner institutions as part of her responsibilities. She has a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone and earned a certificate on Project Management. Her goal is to having cohesive societies and peaceful elections in Sierra Leone and Africa at large.

Brenda Adiaba comes with experiences ranging from managing to overseeing the planning and evaluating of different programs and projects. She has passion and expertise in research and advocacy, peace education, conflict resolution, women empowerment, and child development. She is currently the Programs Coordinator at the West Africa Centre for Peace Foundation-Peacejam Ghana. She has experience in disaster management, education, and advocacy. She has a degree in Political Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a second degree in International Relations and Security from the University of Liverpool. Her professional goals are to promote integrity, confidentiality, ethical behavior, and competence in her career.

Dim Ebenye Karine has a keen interest in advocating for the rights of young people, especially young women. She has over eight years of experience in community development, gender equality, good governance, and peace in Cameroon. She is currently the Gender Officer at the Centre for Human Rights and Democracy in Africa (CHRDA). She holds a Secondary School Teacher Diploma, a B.A. in Linguistics from the University of Buea, and an M.A in Peace, Conflict and Security from the University of Buea. Ebenye is committed to serving humanity and promoting human rights and gender equality.

Elizabeth T Falkornia currently holds the position of IT Administrator at the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC) She is also the vice-president for program and planning for the female workers of the LEC, whose interest is to envisage an environment of professional women to be able to socialize, network, mentor, and participate in professional development programs geared towards helping them rise in their careers for the benefit of the corporation, community and the nation at large. She has a passion for peace building and mediation, knowing the impacts of civil war on society, community and family.

Emilia Epeti Miki
Emilia (Emily) Epeti Miki, is the Founder/CEO of Denis Miki Foundation and Efeti Ventures. She has coordinated and facilitated the implementation of community development programs and projects addressing gender equality, sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR), women and youth participation in processes, democracy and governance, and cultural and artistic activism in both national and international spheres. As a social entrepreneur, Emily works to reduce poverty through economic empowerment, mentorship, and coaching. She currently facilitates capacity building trainings, women and youth empowerment trainings and projects, community and rural development outreach programs.

Emma Smith is the Executive Director of the Livelihood Development Center (LivDec) in Liberia which was established during the peak of Ebola. She brought together young women to deliver emergency response through social mobilization, preventive awareness messages campaign, Material support, and psycho-social counseling. Since then, the organization now offers empowerment training programs for small scale entrepreneurs. She creates appealing and motivational messages through music and gives peace and hope to the hopeless. Emma also serves as a mediator in community and family disputes.

Esther Adjovi Agbeka currently works as the Deputy Registrar, Mountcrest University College. She has worked in Human Resources and general administration, and is a Mediator/Arbitrator with the Ghana National Labour Commission. Esther hold an MA in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the Faculty of Law, University of Ghana, Legon, and a Certificate in Job Analysis & Job Evaluation & Grading from the George Washington University, USA.

Felicia Coleman earned a Bachelor of Law Degree (LLB) from the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law at the University of Liberia. She has worked in private practice, focusing on family and labor law, as well as within the judicial system, as an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Liberia. Part of her career was prosecuting sex offenders, training Investigators and medical personnel on the management of sexual offenses, and offering psychosocial services to victims and their families. She helped found the Association of Female Lawyers of Liberia (AFELL), an NGO that caters to the legal needs of women, children and indigent persons. Her long term goal is to become a mediator for her community.

Flora Bossey works as an active broadcast journalist and strategic communicator in Nigeria. She has experience in social protection programmes, researched and wrote an article on female genital mutilation 10 years after the law against it was enacted, and anchored a radio programme on UNSCR 1325 (Women, Peace and Security). She has a passion for agriculture, skills development, and peace-building.

Jannette Eleanor Thomas currently works as a a minister and engages in counseling and peacebuilding in Sierra Leone. She has a Bachelor of Theology and is pursuing a Master’s degree.

Kadiatu Tholley has a background on peacebuilding, women’s empowerment, youth engagement, radio reporting and broadcast, feminist journalism, and peer-to-peer mentorship. She is the Founder and Coordinator of Women and Girls Protective Services in Sierra Leone. She currently serves as the President of Plan International’s Youth Advisory Panel for the Port Loko Programme. She is working on a diploma in Community Health and is determined to bring change to her country.

Kaltumi Abdulazeez holds a BSc in Biology from the University of Abuja, Nigeria. She is a humanitarian activist, peace advocate, philanthropist, women and girl-child advocate, and a voice for the most vulnerable people in society. She currently serves as the Country Director (volunteer role) for the Global Peace Chain Nigeria, a branch of an international peacebuilding organization with a mandate to raise global peace ambassadors. She works with the Community Initiative to Promote Peace (CIPP) Program as the Program Officer at the Interfaith Mediation Center (IMC) Kaduna, where she oversees peace-building programs in six Nigerian states including Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kogi, Plateau and Benue.

Linda Adwoa Adomako is passionate about social change especially with regards issues affecting persons with disabilities. She has work experience in the Ghanaian Tourism Industry as well as the Pan African Parliament in South Africa, both of which have exposed her to different people and cultures. She is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Translation Studies. She wishes to use her knowledge in peacebuilding and languages to address the underlying causes of conflict in her society and as well help people to resolve their differences amicably.

Melrose Modupeh Derica Tamuke is the founder of A Moment With Mel and CEO of Sierra Leone Dream Alive Youths Organization. She holds a First Class BSc (Hons) in Business Administration specialized in Human Resource Management. She has been working with orphanage kids in slum communities and facilitates many youths events as a speaker or trainer in Freetown and the provinces. She has made it her life’s work to help other youths become self-reliant and productive in life.

Mmonbeydo Nadine Joah is a women’s rights activist, feminist, educator, USAID Public Service Scholar with years of experience as a gender advocate. She has built a reputation as a powerful voice for advocacy in women’s rights. Mmonbeydo has been steadfast in lobbying for change of law and policies in Liberia especially the Domestic Violence Law which finally passed in 2019. She spearheads the ‘Raise the Bar’ Leadership Program which not only focuses on skill building for aspiring women leaders, but also aims to counter patriarchy and misogyny in politics and leadership. Mmonbeydo is a graduate of the Louis Arthur Grimes School of Law and a former House of Representative aspirant and the current President of the Network of Peace and Security Women in ECOWAS Countries (NOPSWECO).

She works as an executive assistant and aspire to be a high-end mediator in the next few years. Naomi also works on local peace projects and youth development activities in her community.

Naomi Myers Joboe currently works as a Project Officer for Talking Drum Studio, Liberia Peace Center. She has been actively involved in advocacy for girls, young women, and the underprivileged along with peacebuilding work. She encourages a culture of accountability and develops approaches for the prevention of exploitation and abuses. Naomi is an expert in gender sensitive approaches and has developed skills in training, facilitation, project development and implementation skills as well as leading advocacy on sexual gender based violence. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Liberia.

Ntui Miriam Agbor is the programmes officer at Denis Miki Foundation (DMF), a non profit organization working to sustainably develop the rural and urban poor communities in Cameroon. In that role, she coordinates the development of humanitarian and development focused programmes and projects, their effective implementation, monitoring and evaluation. She facilitates capacity building trainings, women and youth’s empowerment trainings and projects, and community and rural outreach programs. Miriam holds a masters degree in women and gender studies from the University of Buea. She has a goal to help reduce poverty, fight hunger, reduce gender inequality, increase literacy, and institute peace and good governance.

Olutoyin Oluremi Falade is the Founder and Executive Director of Innovative Strategy for Human Development (ISHD) in Nigeria. She has consulted and partnered with many government departments and agencies at all levels of government, CSOs, INGOs (UNDP, British Council, etc) and other groups in Nigeria and internationally within the last twenty-one years. Olutoyin brings expertise in capacity building, advocacy on peace and security, human trafficking, gender and peacebuilding, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), disaster-management, migration and development, budget and budget engagement as well as in research. She studied Measurement and Evaluation (M&E) at Master’s level and Guidance and Counseling at Bachelor’s level from the University of Lagos.

Pearl Nana Yaa Adubea Hammond is currently the Faculty Administrative Officer of the School of Creative Arts, University of Education, Winneba and a part-time Lecturer at the same university. She works as a Professional Counseling Psychologist and a Member of the Ghana Psychological Council and Ghana Psychological Association. She is also a pastor in the Lighthouse Chapel International. Pearl has a doctorate in Guidance and Counseling from the the University of Cape-Coast and is an advocate of women issues and an insightful speaker, drawing from her education and background as a Counseling Psychologist.

She is a military and protective services professional and a graduate from Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto.
