This 120-minute community conversation with Dominican students and alumni/ae will be on April 21st, 2022, at 6:30 pm CDT (UTC -5).

Here is the flyer for the MMCR program.

Also, light refreshments will be served.

There is not a workplace, community, or relationship where conflict does not pose a threat to progress – and for 10 years our programming has provided participants and graduates with the knowledge and skills to both formally mediate specific situations and to lead through conflict to resolution. From lawyers and law enforcement to teachers and social workers, and from human resources and employee assistance to those in faith-based/community-based organizations, our programming has helped the professional development of all participants and has led to impact in the organizations and communities where they operate. – Jake Bucher, PhD | Founding Dean, College of Applied Social Sciences

This in-person event will explore (in townhall style) the critical role that faith plays in the context of rising authoritarianism, toxic and paralyzing polarization in societies in the USA and across the world. The panel will explore the intersection of politics and religion, and the power of faith to build or fail to build social cohesion, lead truth and racial healing processes.
