Suzanne Sherkin

A former leader with MBB-Canada, Suzanne has recently published her first book: When Gender is in Question: A Guide to Understanding. She was inspired to write it when her youngest child transitioned from female to male, and it became clear that there was a significant gap in the public’s understanding of the topic. She wrote the book she wished she’d had 10 years ago when her son began his transition.

Suzanne is an experienced Mediator, Conflict Coach, Facilitator, and former journalist. She now dedicates her time to helping address issues of conflict, harassment, and stigma in the workplace, and in supporting families through difficult conversations around gender.
