Join Mediators Beyond Borders International’s (MBBI) United Nations Multilateral Working Group (UNMWG) and MBBI-NY — and co-sponsored by the CUNY Dispute Resolution Center at John Jay College — on Saturday, March 19th, 12:00PM – 1:30PM ET (US) for a virtual event exploring climate change’s disproportionate effect on women and girls — the priority theme for the sixty-sixth session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW66). . In this interactive event, which is free and is open to the general public, you will have the opportunity to:
- Engage with MBBI CEO Prabha Sankaranarayan regarding MBBI’s efforts to advance gender equity;
- Learn more about the CSW66 priority theme: “Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of climate change…”; and
- Interact with Renata Keller, dialogue facilitator and noted filmmaker, regarding facilitating discussions related to climate change and gender equity.
