Private Sector Partnerships for Peace (PSPP)

The Private Sector Partnerships for Peace (PSPP) aims to build partnerships with the private sector around peacebuilding initiatives. We believe that since peace is good for business, that business must also be good for peace.

Our principles of engagement with the private sector reflect the UN Global Compact (link) 10 principles, specifically:

  • Adherence to International Human Rights
  • Good Labour Practices
  • Environmental Stewardship
  • Anti-Corruption in Business Practices

Strategic Directives for 2025-2026

By utilizing the impressive and wide range of expertise of our members, the PSPP team plans to:

  • Help develop materials/a comprehensive webinar on intra-organizational conflict resolution and transformation tools to promote organizational wellness, mediation and dialogue
  • Participate in UN Global Compact Think Labs or Fast Forward events UN Global Compact Brochure
  • Develop materials/a comprehensive webinar on how Peace is Good for Business and Business Must Be Good For Peace
  • Engage with technology and other businesses to lend their expertise and support to peacebuilding initiatives and projects.
