MBBI is currently expanding its efforts to reach more communities of conflict, building local capacities for peacebuilding, and promoting mediation worldwide, and is actively exploring ways to effectively and extensively mobilize the MBBI community. Join us for this important conversation to consider how we, as Peace Builders, can engage more actively and leverage our own skills and networks more directly to support the peacebuilding work that we recognize is the most important work being done in the world today. The conversation will consider approaches, examples, and experiences from the presenter’s own experiences and background as well as resources such as forimpact.org, “Beyond/Without Border” models, member recommendations, and invite additional insight and guidance from participants. The global community is rapidly approaching a critical and defining moment in the history of human civilization and mobilization of MBBI requires immediate response and commitment by members worldwide.

In this conversation, you will learn approaches, exercises, and techniques that will assist MBBI in promoting its mission and multiplying its efforts domestically and abroad. Participants will also be invited to share and contribute their own suggestions and recommendations. Conversation outcomes will identify how specific strategies will be implemented in furtherance of membership mobilization.
