Carolyn Manning is a nationally accredited mediator and registered psychologist in Australia who brings energy and passion to her work. Her 30 years’ experience brings value, insight and understanding to her conflict management work, which includes mediation, conflict coaching, negotiation and facilitated discussions. Her expertise has been recognised by her appointment to two Australian government tribunals as well as to several mediation panels. Carolyn has helped resolve a wide range of workplace disputes ranging from government departments and agencies, local government authorities, hospitals, police; universities, schools; not-for-profits; sporting associations, businesses, trade unions, families and Indigenous organisations. She brings her skills as an experienced psychologist to reach durable agreements that restore or improve interpersonal relationships. Consulting experience includes workplace investigations conducting, designing and implementing workplace climate change surveys, risk management, and supporting staff during coronial inquests.

She is a Harvard trained negotiator. Her negotiation experience includes facilitating financial settlements with multi-national companies and negotiating return to work arrangements for injured workers. Carolyn also has a long history of providing mediation training and coaching, including publishing academic papers on mediation outcomes and workplace conflict and has produced a mediation DVD. Carolyn is interested in MBBI assignments in the Asia-Pacific region. She is also open to videoconferencing options to provide support and deliver services.
