News Flash…. MBB is organizing an International Auction!
MBB is in the process of coordinating the organizations’ first international ONLINE AUCTION, and we’re reaching out to you for your help. If you or someone you know would be willing to contribute:
- For the mediator: mediation coaching lessons, workshops and training, conflict resolution books or DVDs
- An international flare: artwork, decor, crafts, kitchen and tableware, and other international memorabilia
- Travel: trip packages, timeshares, vacation properties, airfare, cruises, hotel stays, restaurant certificates
- For the fashionista: Designer bags, cosmetics, jewelry, designer clothes
- For the gadget guru: Watches, iPad, iPod, digital cameras, editing, or video services
- Leisure & Entertainment: spa certificates, sporting event tickets, theater/movie passes, gift baskets, massage, nutrition counseling
- Artwork: Picasso or Picasa
Please let us know! Donors will be recognized on all promotion used for the auction, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and in the e-mail blasts sent to our members.
Are you wondering how else you can help? The Auction Committee is looking to fill 3 positions to assist with the following:
- writing copy for the auction website,
- soliciting and tracking contributed items,
- making follow-up calls, corresponding with donors, and
- receiving and shipping items.
This is a great opportunity to work with an enthusiastic and committed team, build your network, and help generate vital resources for MBB’s efforts to create a more peace “able” world.
We would like to invite all committee chairs to brainstorm potential auction items with their committee members in order to increase member involvement and to generate new ideas that can be used to contribute the success of this event.
