She is a conflict transformation practitioner who has mediated, facilitated and trained in Europe, Asia, Africa and the USA. Her public and private sector work includes conflict analysis for public/private partnerships, consultation & assessment for industrial development zones, design and implementation of trainings for multinational corporations; inter faith dialogues as well as facilitation of multi-stakeholder mediations.
Prabha is actively involved in regional, national and international civic activities focused on civil liberties, sexual violence prevention, conflict mitigation & mediation and the recovery & rehabilitation of trauma survivors (Board of the American Civil Liberties Union Pittsburgh, Past President of the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Rape and CONTACT Pittsburgh). She is an Adjunct Professor at Washington and Jefferson College. She trains and delivers presentations (nationally and internationally) on the impact of family and community violence, the intersection of trauma and peacebuilding, restorative justice, conflict resolution, mediation and transitional justice.
She speaks English, Tamil and Hindi. Enjoys travel, hiking & rafting.
Managing Director, MBB Consulting
Jeffrey drives strategy, builds relationships and partnerships, leads business development, and supports consultants as they do their work for MBB Consulting. He has extensive experience in organizational dispute resolution system design, organizational strategy design, organizational assessments, facilitation of decision-making processes, and mediation of problem-solving processes. Jeffrey is well-versed in using ADR tools to: resolve crises, improve organizational effectiveness, build consensus among multiple stakeholders, and conduct a communications strategy.
Gillian Saxby is a certified mediator and has conflict resolution training which includes: online mediation training and certification (2010), BC Court Mediation Program certification (2005), and Conflict Analysis and Management certification (2003). She holds a Masters of Counselling Psychology (MACP), Yorkville University in New Brunswick (2016), Masters of Arts Community and Regional Planning, University of British Columbia (1992) and a Bachelor of Arts, Economics, University of Victoria (1987). Since 2005, Gillian has worked as a Civil Mediator for Small Claims Court with the B.C. Dispute Resolution Practicum Society. She is also a member of the BC Mediation (Civil) Roster. Gillian has over nineteen years of professional experience in the following areas: multi-part facilitation, mediation, and collaborative processes; First Nations consulting including treaty preparations, planning and community communications; and policy & planning for provincial, regional and local governments including public policy, planning, evaluation reports, bylaw and enforcement reviews, and organizational policy and procedures.
Communications and Operations Manager
Anna Milovanovic-Fazliu leads MBBI’s Communications & Operations at MBBI. She has an LLM from the University of Kent at Brussels and has worked in research and advocacy in Washington, DC—focusing on minority rights and counter-corruption in the Balkans, South India, and North Africa.
